Impact Verification
EQA has developed an Impact Verification model with the objective of providing assurance and confidence on the environmental and social impact of a project and/or investment. Under this model, EQA provides the following verification services:
Validation of Expected Impact
The objective of the validation is to:
-Assess and validate the theory of change, the hypothesis, the target audience, the impact objectives, the consistency of the objectives with the investment strategy, the appropriateness of the selected impact indicators and the expected impact calculation.
-The validation of expected impact is carried out prior to the implementation of the project and/or investment.
Impact Report Verification
The objective of the verification is to:
-Verify the performance of the indicators, the data, the source and systems managing the data, the impact measurement methodology applied, the calculations made and the evidence supporting the data.
-Verification of impact reporting is carried out annually, during the implementation period of the project and/or investment.
Final Impact Verification
The objective of the verification is to:
-Verify the fulfilment of the impact objectives, the change generated, the level of contribution to the change generated, and the scalability of the transformation.
-The final impact verification is carried out at the end of the project or at the disinvestment phase.
