2030 Agenda and SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)
In 2015, the United Nations General Assembly took a momentous step by adopting the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. This ambitious pact establishes 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and 169 goals that cover economic, social and environmental dimensions.
Through this pact, a transversal action plan is drawn up that calls on citizens, governments, companies and the third sector to commit to the alignment and achievement of these objectives, generating a clear impact on the economy, society and the environment.
Companies are considered key players in driving progress towards a more sustainable world, as they have the capacity to innovate, invest and transform their operations in ways that contribute significantly to the SDGs. To this end, we have developed a series of validation and verification services that ensure that your organization is on the right path towards sustainability, obtaining direct benefits from it.
Our goal is to make the alignment and contribution of your projects, strategies and certifications with the SDGs simple and effective.

At EQA we propose that the information to be validated, verified or certified be included within a Sustainability Report or in an independent report. In this way, the organization will have a document that will be presented in an organized and easily identifiable manner, in which the entity’s ESG criteria are developed, as well as its commitments to sustainable development. This will allow its visibility to different interest groups. In the case of SMEs or organizations that do not yet have any sustainability report, this document may be a first step in reporting on these issues.
Memory Requirements
The memory is structured in three blocks:
- Definition of goals, context analysis and identification of interested parties, impacts and opportunities.
- Proposal for monitoring, conclusions and commitment.
- Evaluation, selection of the SDGs and goals and quantitative and/or qualitative methodological proposal of the project
To facilitate the preparation of this report, we provide the client with Guides for its Preparation, based on Global Compact documents and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
